Dairy Production Pilot Plant Manager, UDairy Creamery Newark
The UDairy Creamery is seeking a dairy expert to join our cheese and ice cream team. This role runs our dairy production facility within the Genuardi Food Innovation Laboratory. The role manages production, educates students, and creates products for sale across campus and the community. This role oversees 1-2 full time positions and an additional 4-12 student interns. The plant manager will use their experience and knowledge of food safety practice to produce quality cheese and ice cream products and train students in those practices. Experience in dairy production, food science, microbiology or other related fields is preferred.
Academic Advisor II, Electrical and Computer Engineering Newark
Under the general direction of the Associate Chair for Graduate Studies and the Business Administrator, the Academic Advisor II manages full-time and part-time graduate programs in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Cybersecurity and is responsible for Department outreach activities aimed at providing an array of leading educational programs to regional, national, and international constituencies. Junior Marine Engineer* Lewes
The Junior Marine Engineer / AB performs skilled work to ensure the power plant and auxiliary machinery aboard the ship is operating properly, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with emergency repairs to keep the ship on mission projects. They also maintain cleanliness and perform preservation of engineering and other spaces aboard ship. As AB they will support deck operations and maintenance underway or in port. The SHARP is a highly technical research vessel with numerous electronic controls and a twin azimuth-drive propulsion system. When standing watch as Duty Engineer, the Junior Marine Engineer is responsible for monitoring all engineering systems and operating deck equipment while the Chief or Assistant Chief Engineer is off duty. Independent judgment and initiative are required in ensuring safety of personnel and equipment while operating deck equipment and detecting and reacting to problems with engineering systems or to emergency situations.
