Research Associate III, Center for Plastics Innovation	Newark
The Center for Plastics Innovation (CPI) seeks a Research Associate III to join our team. Founded in 2020 at the University of Delaware, CPI brings a fresh focus on the global problem of plastics waste by combining innovations in catalytic technology, chemical functionalization, and polymer design. Under the general direction of the Science & Technology Director, the Research Associate III will plan, carry out, and analyze results from polymer plastics waste recycling/upcycling experiments for a range of projects that serve CPI, the Center for Research in Soft Matter & Polymers (CRiSP), and related polymer sustainability activities. The Research Associate III must possess a high level of independent judgement, professionalism, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
Tenure Track Faculty Position, Physical Therapy	Newark
The Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Delaware invites applications for an open rank faculty position. Appointments are for a nine-month academic year. We seek a clinical scientist with strong research training, a commitment to professional and graduate education, and effective interpersonal skills. Research focus can be in any area relevant to Physical Therapy. The candidate should have an earned research doctorate in a related field, have post-doctoral research training, be eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in Delaware, and possess a strong desire to develop and conduct a nationally and internationally recognized research program. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department’s teaching efforts in the DPT Program and in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Biomechanics and Movement Science (BIOMS) in his or her area of expertise. The teaching load will be appropriate to allow the candidate to pursue a rigorous research program. The potential for collaboration and joint appointment in other colleges and departments is high. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Competitive start-up funds accompany this position. Post Doctoral Researcher, Tavares Lab	Newark
A Post Doctoral Researcher position is available in the lab of Andre Pasqua Tavares (https://tavareslab.bio.udel.edu) in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Delaware. The purpose of this Post Doctoral Researcher position is to independently perform studies using mouse and Xenopus models in support of ongoing research and to assist PI in mouse colony and laboratory maintenance and management. We are committed to mentoring and training the post-doctoral researcher and providing the support needed to reach career goals.
